Ciriello Ends Collegiate Career at NCAA Outdoor Championships

(GENEVA, Ohio) - Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field senior Rose Ciriello (Madison, N.J. / Madison) completed her career at the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio, on Friday.

Ciriello was in the first heat where she finished sixth with a time of 2:15.12. Her time was 15th best with the top nine advancing to the finals.

Ciriello is the second straight and third Tartan to qualify for NCAAs in the 800-meter run. Sarah Cook ran in the event a year ago while Courtney Baker competed in the 800 in 2010.
