Zinchenko Honored by UAA

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University sophomore Shelly Zinchenko was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Tennis Athletes of the Week for her performance over the weekend at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.

Zinchenko recorded a combined record of 7-1 while going 4-0 in singles play and 3-1 in doubles play with four different partners against opponents from Saint Francis University.

The Tartans will next compete on Saturday, September 13, the Tartans will travel to Gambier, Ohio, for the Kenyon Invitational.
