Tartans Open UAA Championship Meet at UChicago

(CHICAGO, Ill.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's swimming and diving team began the University Athletic Association (UAA) Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday, February 11 with the 800-yard freestyle relay. The meet is being hosted by the University of Chicago.

Top Performances

• The 800-yard freestyle relay finished sixth in a time of 7:35.60 behind the swims from senior Savannah Xu, senior Sophie Elliott, freshman Victoria Sun, and senior Audrey Soetanto.

Notes

• The Tartans are currently fifth with 76 points, eight points behind Washington University St. Louis and UChicago who are tied for third.
