Co Named UAA Women's Diver of the Week

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - Carnegie Mellon University freshman Clarissa Co of the women's swimming and diving team was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Diver of the Week.

Co won the 3-meter diving event and placed second on the 1-meter board when the Tartans defeated Case Western Reserve University in a dual meet on Saturday, November 1. Co's score of 254.00 on the 3-meter topped her teammate by 14.45 points and Case Western Reserve's Jayna Kawas by 26 points. Co's 1-meter score of 211.35 was short of first place by 28.60 points.

The Tartans return to action on Saturday, November 8 at home against Gettysburg College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
