Or Garners UAA Athlete of the Week Honors

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University senior Catherine Or has been named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for her performance during a 2-0 week for the Tartans. The award is the second for the Tartans this season.

Or led the  women's basketball team to a 2-0 week with a double-double at home against Oberlin and a 10-of-12 shooting performance on the road in a come-from-behind victory at Denison. Or recorded 11 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and three steals in the team's 81-43 win against Oberlin and led the comeback on Saturday at Denison with 21 points, four rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Against Denison, the Tartans trailed by five at halftime with Or tallying six points. She led the turnaround in the second half as the team shot 74.1% with her making all seven of her field goal attempts and her lone free throw for 15 points to go with five assists in 16 minutes.

The Tartans return to the court tonight at 5:30 p.m. against Carlow University at home.
