Tartans Compete at Widener Final Qualifier

(CHESTER, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's track and field team had three athletes participated in the Widener Final Qualifier on Monday.

Top Performances

• Senior Sean Dutton and sophomore Matthew Short ran in the 1,500-meter race. Denton crossed in a personal-best time of 3:48.45 with Short also posting a personal-best time of 3:48.59.
• Graduate student Matthew Porter competed in the 5,000-meter race and crossed in 14:36.41.
