Coyle Named UAA Running Athlete of the Week
(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Senior Matthew Coyle of the Carnegie Mellon University men's indoor track and field team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week for field events following his performance at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday.
Coyle broke the school record in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 29:38.72, breaking his previous school record time of 29:47.14. His time currently ranks sixth nationally and tops in the UAA.
On Thursday, April 17, the Tartans will return to Slippery Rock University for the Slippery Rock Last Chance Invite.
