Vandenberg Places Fourth in 800 Earning All-America Honors

(LINCOLN, Neb.) - Carnegie Mellon University men's track and field junior Thomas Vandenberg (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Mamaroneck) finished in fourth place in the finals of the 800-meter run at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Division III Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon.

Vandenberg crossed the finish line in a close-knit pack with a time of 1:52.47 to take fourth place and earn All-America honors.

This is the first All-America honor for Vandenberg as the indoor track and field season comes to a close.
