Shuster Earns Third UAA Weekly Honor

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - Carnegie Mellon University junior Nico Shuster was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Diver of the Week for his efforts against Calvin University this past weekend. It is the third honor of the season for the junior.

Shuster dominated the diving events in the dual meet, winning both events by more than 100 points. His six-dive score of 278.85 on the 1-meter board and 298.65 on the 3-meter board each hit qualifying standards for the NCAA Diving Regional.

The Tartans are back in action at the UAA Championships when the four-day meet begins on Wednesday, February 11 at the University of Chicago.
