Shuster Named UAA Men's Diver of the Week
(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - Carnegie Mellon University junior Nico Shuster was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Diver of the Week for his efforts in two meets this past weekend. It is the second honor of the season for the junior.
Shuster again met NCAA Regional Diving qualification with his scores during the Tartans dual meet with Denison on Saturday, January 17. Shuster scored 280.2 on the 1-meter to place third and 323.62 on the 3-meter to place second, with both just off his season-best scores for six dives. He also dove on Friday at Westminster with scores of 230.95 on the 1-meter and 230.45 on the 3-meter after six dives each.
The Tartans are back in action on Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24 in the Western PA Invitational with diving taking place at the University of Pittsburgh.
