2013-14
Roy recorded two career times at the UAA Championships, finishing second on the team for the season in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.42) and 200-yard IM (1:53.85). He finished the 200-yard breaststroke in a season-best 2:09.45 at the UAA Championships and the 400-yard IM in 4:14.34 at the Kenyon College Total Performance Invitational.
2012-13
Roy transferred to Carnegie Mellon in the middle of the season after swimming at Villanova University in 2011-12. In his first year as a Tartan, Roy provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 400-yard IM, recording his best time of 4:06.92 at the UAA Championships. Roy achieved two other top times at the UAA Championships when he touched in 58.98 in the 100-yard breaststroke and 2:07.36 in the 200-yard breaststroke. For the year, Roy was second on the team in the 200-yard breaststroke and third in the 100-yard breaststroke and 400-yard IM.
2011-12
Roy started his collegiate swimming career on the swim team at Villanova University.
