2012-13
Roy transferred to Carnegie Mellon in the middle of the season after swimming at Villanova University in 2011-12. In his first year as a Tartan, Roy provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 400-yard IM, recording his best time of 4:06.92 at the UAA Championships. Roy achieved two other top times at the UAA Championships when he touched in 58.98 in the 100-yard breaststroke and 2:07.36 in the 200-yard breaststroke. For the year, Roy was second on the team in the 200-yard breaststroke and third in the 100-yard breaststroke and 400-yard IM.
