Dimitrijevic Receives Two Regional Awards
(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Graduate student Nikola Dimitrijevic of the Carnegie Mellon University men's basketball team was honored with two regional team awards for his performance during the 2025-26 season. Dimitrijevic was named to the D3hoops.com Region 7 and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Region 7 second team.
Dimitrijevic started in 23 games this season and led the Tartans in scoring as he averaged 17.1 points per game which ranked 10th in the UAA while shooting 53.9% from the floor, ranking second in the UAA. He scored double figures in 21 contests while recording 20 or more points on nine occasions. Dimitrijevic ranked tops on the team and second in the UAA averaging 7.6 rebounds per game. His 34 blocks this season led the Cardinal and Gray and ranked fourth in the league. He recorded a career-high seven blocks in a win over nationally ranked WashU marking the most blocks in a game for a Tartan since the 2014-15 season.
