Higgs Honored by UAA

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - Carnegie Mellon University men's basketball junior Isaac Higgs was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week. Higgs helped the Tartans to a 2-0 week to start the season with wins over La Roche and Chatham.

Higgs averaged 21.5 points while shooting 59.1% (13-22) from the floor and made 14-of-18 from the foul line. He started the season with a career-high 27 points against La Roche as he shot 54.5% from the floor and made 12-of-16 from the foul line. The junior then shot 63.6% from the floor in the win over Chatham, scoring a team-high 16 points.

Carnegie Mellon will host Muskingum University on Tuesday, November 11 with a tip at 5:30 p.m.
