    Senior Colin McNeil (Ringoes, N.J./Hunterdon Central Regional) of the Carnegie Mellon University men’s basketball team recorded the programs first triple-double, as the Tartans defeated the visiting Redhawks of La Roche University Wednesday, 76-73. The win marks the Tartans fourth straight as they improve to 4-2. La Roche is now 1-5 on the season.
  • Tartans Win Opening Game of DoubleTree Invitational, 71-70, Over Salisbury

    The Carnegie Mellon University men’s basketball team opened the 29th Annual Carnegie Mellon DoubleTree Green Tree Invitational on Saturday with a 71-70 win over the visiting Sea Gulls of Salisbury University. The win marks the third straight for the Tartans, as they improve to 3-2 the Sea Gulls move to 3-5.

    The Carnegie Mellon University men’s basketball team traveled to Arlington, Virginia on Saturday afternoon and left with an 83-70 victory over Marymount University. The Tartans are now 2-2 on the young season while the Saint move to 3-2.

    The Carnegie Mellon University men’s basketball team opened its season with an 86-81 setback to the visiting Gators of Allegheny College on Tuesday night. Senior Colin McNeil (Ringoes, N.J./Hunterdon Central Regional) recorded his first career double-double with a school record 13 assists while adding 13 points. His 13 assists ties him for fifth all-time in program history with 288 for his career.
