Dr. Narvel joined the Carnegie Mellon University sports performance team as a sports medicine fellow with Dr. Rabuck in 2025.

About Dr. Narvel:

Raed Narvel grew up in Jacksonville, Fl and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida where he also obtained a Master of Public Health. He subsequently attended medical school at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, Fl and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Dartmouth Health in New Hampshire. He is currently a Fellow in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His interests include ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff surgery, shoulder replacement, and hip and knee preservation. After completion of his fellowship, he plans to continue treating athletes and weekend warriors alike in Pittsburgh as a sports surgeon.
