In his role, Mlodzianowski leads event management for all 19 varsity sports, supervises facility operations including capital-projects, and oversees the areas of athletic communications & marketing, equipment management and corporate-partnership activation. He also serves as sport administrator for both the men’s and women’s golf programs, acts as liaison to the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), and plays an active role on the Athletics Advancement team.

Mlodzianowski arrived at CMU in 2013 as Event Manager and Coordinator of Athletics Facilities, and was promoted in July 2016 to Assistant Director of Athletics for Events, Facilities & Operations. He has served as tournament director for 20 NCAA championship-event bids hosted on campus.

Prior to CMU, Mlodzianowski spent a year at the University of Missouri as a Game Operations Assistant, where he coordinated game-day operations for 11 athletic teams, led football-game-day parking logistics and supported concourse operations at Mizzou Arena during basketball contests. During his time at Missouri, he served as tournament director for the first-round of the 2013 Division I NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship and as assistant championship director for the 2013 SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Before Missouri, Mlodzianowski served as the Asa S. Bushnell Intern at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), where he focused on organizing Division I, II and III championships. He also gained additional experience in event management at Springfield College and the University of Connecticut Athletics Departments.

Mlodzianowski earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA ’07), where he was a four-year letter-winner and served as captain of the Trailblazers men’s soccer team. He completed his master’s in Athletic Administration at Springfield College in 2014. A native of Schenectady, New York, he resides in Forest Hills with his wife Stacey and their son, Shai.
