David Zhang - Men's Golf

Senior David Zhang helped the Tartans win the Sam Snead Collegiate in a field of 21 teams that was played at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club Gold Course in Williamsburg, Virginia on April 13-14. Zhang claimed his first collegiate individual medalist honor in a field of 108 golfers. The senior opened play carding a two-under par 69 and then followed with a four-under par 67. The final round had Zhang enter the clubhouse with a three-under par 68 to finish the 54-hole invitational at nine-under par 204. His 54-hole score of nine-under par is the fifth lowest three-round score in program history.
