      <title>Men&#x2019;s and Women&#x2019;s Track Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Awards</title>

      <description>The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2016 Division III All-Academic Track &amp; Field Teams and Carnegie Mellon University was included on the lists for the 10th consecutive year. A total of 112 men&#x2019;s teams and 175 women&#x2019;s teams earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.1 or better.</description>

      <description>Junior Grace Yee (San Francisco, Calif./Lick-Wilmerding) of the Carnegie Mellon University women&#x2019;s track and field team broke the school indoor pole vault record, as the team competed at the at the Denison Lid Lifter in Granville, Ohio and half competed at the SPIRE North Coast Indoor Track &amp; Field Open at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio on Saturday, January 23.  The North Coast Open was unscored, as the Tartans placed third at the Lid Lifter with 92 points.</description>
