    A second-half goal by visiting Emory University halted the 24th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team's winning streak when the Eagles won 1-0 in Pittsburgh on Sunday, October 20. The Tartans are now 9-3-1 overall and 3-1 in the University Athletic Association (UAA) while the Eagles move to 9-4 and 2-2.

    Junior Taylor Cammarata's (Cary, N.C. / Green Hope) goal in overtime lifted the 24th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team past 17th-ranked University of Rochester on Friday, October 18 in Pittsburgh. The Tartans improve to 9-2-1 for the year and 3-0 in the University Athletic Association, while the Yellowjackets drop to 8-3-1 and 0-2-1.

Freshman Alex Adams scored twice while sophomore Marissa McAfee recorded a goal and an assist in her first career game.
