      <description>Carnegie Mellon University fourth-year Head Football Coach Ryan Larsen has announced the Tartans 2026 recruiting class. The Tartans will welcome 39 newcomers, 30 first years, two undergraduate transfer and seven graduate transfers that hail from 16 different states. The colleges represented by the newcomers are Tepper School of Business (TSB) (23), Dietrich College of Humanities &amp; Social Sciences (DC) (8), College of Engineering (CIT) (7) and Information Systems (IS) (1).</description>

The award recognizes an individual as the absolute best in the country for his combined academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership. Carnegie Mellon's senior placekicker Justin Caputo is one of 33 Division III players on the list of 177 student-athletes.</description>
