      <description>The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team continued play at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships on Wednesday at the Mission Inn Resort &amp; Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The Tartans recorded a team score of 290 (+2) on the El Campeón Course and have a 36-hole score of 571 (-1) while they sit tied for third place with CMS in a field of 43 teams. Play was suspended for round two with CMS still having one hole to play. Following the completion of the second-round on Thursday at 7:30 a.m., the field will be cut to the top 18 teams and the top six individuals not on advancing teams.</description>
