Allen Records PR in High Jump as Women’s Track and Field Compete at Ohio State and Mount Union
February 16, 2019The Carnegie Mellon University women’s track and field team competed both at the Ohio State University Indoor Collegiate Meet in Columbus, Ohio and the Mount Union Raider Tune-Up in Alliance, Ohio. The Tartans competed against competitive fields at both meets and many scored college and season best performances. -
Tartans Top the Field at Noke Elite Meet
February 09, 2019The Carnegie Mellon University women’s track and field team placed first with 173 points at the Noke Elite Meet hosted by Roanoke College this Saturday, February 9. The Tartans finished in front of second-place Washington and Lee University and third-place Denison University. This year marked the team’s first appearance at the Noke Elite Meet. -
Tartans Place Second at Bob Shannon Invitational
February 02, 2019The Carnegie Mellon University women’s track and field team competed in the Denison University Bob Shannon Invitational this Saturday, February 2. The Tartans placed second overall with 97 points, finishing just 9.5 points behind Ohio Wesleyan University. -
Tartan Women Win the Battle for the Obelisk for the Second Time in Meet History
January 26, 2019The Carnegie Mellon University women’s track and field team won the Battle for the Obelisk against Case Western Reserve University in both women’s and combined scoring for the second time in meet history. With a combined total of 157 points the men and women brought home the obelisk for the third consecutive season. The dual meet competition resulted in 11 first-place finishes by the Tartan women. -
Track & Field and Swimming & Diving Saturday Competitions Cancelled

Michelle Karabin: An All-American Teammate
September 27, 2018Michelle Karabin is the true embodiment of a track and field star. She is the first female track and field athlete since 2012 in Carnegie Mellon history to reach All-American status. In addition to her contributions as a vaulter, Michelle is passionate about the success of her entire team.
