  • Williams Named CoSIDA Academic All-District for Women’s Soccer

    Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer junior Camille Williams (Cincinnati, Ohio/The Seven Hills School) was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Google Cloud Academic All-District women’s soccer team, as announced by the association. The district team is voted on by sports information directors in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Three Tartans Named to All-Association Squad

    Three Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer players were honored by the University Athletic Association (UAA) coaches on Thursday, November 8 for their play throughout the 2018 season in which the team finished 8-8-1. Senior Kaily Bruch (Glenview, Ill. / Glenbrook South), sophomore Taylor Cammarata (Cary, N.C. / Green Hope) and junior Tara Durstewitz (Old Bridge, N.J. / Old Bridge) earned the award for the Tartans.
  • Tartans Win Season Finale, 2-1, Against Case Western Reserve

    The Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team hosted Case Western Reserve University in the season finale for both programs on Saturday, November 3. The Tartans won by a 2-1 score to finish the year at 8-8-1 and 1-6 in the University Athletic Association (UAA).

    The Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, for a Friday night contest against Emory University. The Tartans dropped the game by a 1-0 score moving their record to 7-7-1 for the year.

    Despite dominating play, the Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team fell at Nazareth College, 1-0, on Saturday, October 20. The Tartans are now 7-6-1 for the season while Nazareth moves to 7-5-4.

    The 21st-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team hosted No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis on Sunday, October 14 for a University Athletic Association (UAA) contest. The Bears earned a 3-0 win to move to 13-0-0 and 4-0-0 while the Tartans fall to 7-5-1 and 0-4-0.

    The 21st-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team hosted 13th-ranked University of Chicago on Friday, October 12 in a University Athletic Association (UAA) contest. Chicago rallied from a goal down to top the Tartans, 2-1.

    In a battle of top 15 teams, the 12th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team fell 2-0 to 10th-ranked Brandeis University after lightning caused a two-hour delay. The Tartans are now 7-3-1 overall and 0-2 in the UAA while the Judges move to 9-1 and 2-0.
  • Bruch's Goal Lifts #12 Tartans to 1-0 Victory

    The 12th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team hosted Penn State Behrend on Tuesday, October 2 in non-conference action. After at hour-and-a-half weather delay, the Tartans closed out the Lions with a 1-0 victory. The Tartans are now 7-2-1 for the season while Behrend falls to 5-6.

    The 10th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer team opened the University Athletic Association (UAA) season at New York University on Saturday, September 29. Despite out shooting the Violets, the Tartans fell 1-0 and are now 6-2-1 for the season while NYU moved to 5-4.

The Tartans are now 5-1-1 for the season while the Presidents dropped to 2-4-1.

    The 10th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team hosted fifth-ranked Messiah College on Saturday, September 15, falling to the Falcons, 4-1. The Tartans move to 4-1-1 for the year while Messiah advances to 5-1.

  • Botz Honored by UAA as Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week

    Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer sophomore Carolyn Botz (St. Louis, Mo./MICDS) was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for her performance in a 2-0 week for the Tartans. The honor is the first of the season for the Tartans.

    The 11th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team closed a road trip to Virginia with a 2-0 victory at Roanoke College on Sunday, September 9 in the final match of the Roanoke Invitational Soccer Showcase. The Tartans move to 3-0-1 for the year while Roanoke drops its first contest and is 1-1-2.
  • Tolmer's First Half Goal Propels #11 Tartans to 1-0 Win Against #16 Lynchburg

    A goal by senior Emily Tolmer (Bridgeville, Pa. / Chartiers Valley) in the 32nd minute held up in a 1-0 neutral site win for the 11th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team against 16th-ranked University of Lynchburg on Saturday, September 8. The Tartans, now 2-0-1, traveled to Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, for the Roanoke Invitational Soccer Showcase where they'll face Roanoke on Sunday.
  • #11 Tartans Tie Washington and Lee in DoubleTree Tartan Cup

    In the final match of the Carnegie Mellon University DoubleTree Tartan Cup, the women’s soccer team tied the Washington and Lee University Generals. The 1-1 score after double overtime kept the Tartans undefeated after the opening weekend for the season.

    The Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team opened the 2018 season with a 6-2 victory against Shenandoah University on the first day of the Carnegie Mellon DoubleTree Tartan Cup. Five different players scored for the Tartans with junior Sydney Webber (Nashville, Tenn. / Harpeth Hall) recording the game winner in head coach Yon Struble's 100th career victory.
