(SANDESTIN, Fla.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team continued play at the 2018 Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational on Monday and carded a team score of 310 for a 36-hole total of 629 (319-310). The Tartans are currently in second in a field of 18 teams after jumping four spots in the team standings on Monday. The Baytowne Golf Club in Sandestin, Florida, is the site of play for the 54-hole event.
For the second straight day, senior Carly Jordan (San Juan Capistrano, Calif./St. Margaret's Episcopal School) led the Tartans after carding a two-over par 74 on the 5,804-yard, par 72 course. Jordan has a two-round score of 151 (77-74) and is tied for third place in a field of 93 golfers heading into the final round of play.
Freshman Nadia Susanto (Irvine, Calif./Arnold O. Beckman) has a 155 after firing a round of five-over par 77 on Tuesday to go with her opening round score of 78. Classmate Grace Chen (Sunnyvale, Calif./Saint Francis) improved nine strokes on Monday from her opening round to card a 78 and has a 36-hole score of 165.
The final round will be played Tuesday morning with tee time starting at 8:00 a.m.
