  • Tartans Place 21st at NCAA Championships

    The Carnegie Mellon University men's cross country team placed 21st at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 18. The meet was hosted by Principia College in Elsah, Illinois, with North Central College earning the championship title.
  • Men’s Cross Country Heading to National’s

    The Carnegie Mellon University men’s cross country team automatically qualified for the 2017 NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country Championships which will be held at the Principia College North Farm Cross Country Course in Elsah, Illinois on Saturday, November 18. It marks the Tartans fourth straight team appearance at the championships and 11th in the last 12 years.
  • Tartans Qualify for Nationals with Second-Place Showing at NCAA Mideast Regional
    November 11, 2017
    he 16th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men's cross country team qualified for the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Champtionships after placing second at the 2017 Mideast Regional Championships on Saturday, November 11, hosted by Dickinson College in Newville, Pa. The Tartans finished second in a field of 57 teams with 96 points. Third-ranked Haverford finished in first with 25 points and 12th-ranked Johns Hopkins placed third with 103 points.
  • Tartans Place Second at UAA Championships

    The Carnegie Mellon University men's cross country team finished in second at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships on Saturday, October 28 when seven members of the team finished in the top 30 to earn 78 points. Washington University won the race with 40 points and Emory University finished third behind the Tartans with 101 points.

    Seven Carnegie Mellon University athletes were honored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) when the organization announced its weekly award winners this week. From football junior Alex Cline (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Jerome) and junior Rory Hubbard (Rolling Hills Estates, Calif./Palos Verdes Peninsula), women's soccer freshman Carolyn Botz (St. Louis, Mo./Micds), from volleyball junior Lauren Mueller (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown STEM Academy) and sophomore Kayla Yew (San Francisco, Calif./Sacred Heart Cathedral), men's cross country sophomore Evan Yukevich (Tokyo, Japan/American School in Japan) and women's cross country freshman Parvathi Meyyappan (Cupertino, Calif./Monta Vista).
  • #16 Tartans Place Second at Rowan Inter-Regional

    The 16th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men's cross country team finished second at the Rowan Inter-Regional Invitational hosted by Rowan University with 62 points. Leading the Tartans in the 28-team race was sophomore Evan Yukevich (Tokyo, Japan/American School in Japan).

    The University Athletic Association (UAA) announced its 30th Anniversary Men’s Cross Country Team on Thursday, October 12. Forty-six student-athletes earned the honor with five representing Carnegie Mellon University.

Men's cross country junior Andrew Harter (Saratoga, Calif.) and women's cross country sophomore Abigail Levine (Bethesda, Md./Bethesda Chevy Chase) were honored.

    The Carnegie Mellon University men's cross country team finished second at its home Hampton Inn Pittsburgh - University/Medica Center Invitational on Saturday, October 7. The weather was unseasonably warm as the Tartans finished behind Division II Shippensburg University.

Volleyball sophomore Kayla Yew (San Francisco, Calif./Sacred Heart Cathedral), men's soccer junior Zack Masciopinto (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove), women's soccer freshman Carolyn Botz (St. Louis, Mo./Micds) and men's cross country junior Aadi Mhatre (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) were all honored.

    The Carnegie Mellon University men's cross country team, ranked 17th in the lastest national poll, cruised to victory at the Allegheny College Classic on Saturday, September 16 with seven runners finishing in the top 15.
  • Men’s Cross Country Goes 2-2 at Duquesne Duals to Open Season

    The Carnegie Mellon University men's cross country team opened its 2017 season at the Duquesne University Duals on Saturday, September 2 in Schenley Park. The Tartans defeated Youngstown State University and Indian University of Pennsylvania, as they competed against three Division I schools and one Division II squad in IUP.
