  • Girard Named Operations Manager for Intercollegiate Tennis - Belmonte Promoted to Head Men’s Tennis Coach

    The Carnegie Mellon Athletics Department has restructured its intercollegiate tennis program, which includes the promotion of Mike Belmonte to Head Men’s Tennis Coach. Andrew Girard will remain the Head Women’s Tennis Coach and will add responsibilities as Operations Manager for Intercollegiate Tennis.
  • Levine Receives ITA Sportsmanship Award, Ends Play as National Runner-up

    Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis junior Daniel Levine (Highland Park, Ill./Boca Prep International School) competed in the finals of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Oracle Cup on Saturday morning in Rome, Georgia, and finished as the National Singles Runner-up. The three-day event was held at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College.
  • Levine to Play for ITA National Singles Championship

    Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis junior Daniel Levine (Highland Park, Ill./Boca Prep International School) played a three-set match to win the semifinal of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Oracle Cup on Friday morning in Rome, Georgia. With the victory, Levine becomes the third male Tartan to play for an ITA National Singles Championship. The three-day event is being held at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College.

The three-day event is being held at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, Georgia.

  • Tartans Top Two Regional Opponents at Home Sunday

    The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team hosted two regional opponents on Sunday, October 8 at The Club Sport and Health in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, and finished the day with two victories to move its record to 3-0 for the season. The Tartans started the day with a 6-1 victory against Oberlin College before topping Christopher Newport University, 5-4.

    The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team had two singles players and one doubles team advance to the finals of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional on Monday, October 2 after semifinal action at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The all-Tartan singles final has been moved to Tuesday, October 3 and will be played at Carnegie Mellon.

    Play continued at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional on Sunday, October 1 for the Carnegie Mellon University men’s tennis team. Two individuals advanced to the semifinal round in singles while two doubles pairs also made the semifinal round.

  • Men’s Tennis Opens Play at Kenyon College Invitational

    The Carnegie Mellon University men?s tennis team opened its 2017-18 season on Saturday and Sunday, September 9-10 at the annual Kenyon College Invitational. The Tartans faced opponents from Case Western Reserve University, Denison University, John Carroll University, Kenyon College, Ohio Wesleyan University and Oberlin College.
  • Fields Announced for 2018 ITA National Indoor Championships

    The fields for the 2018 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Men's and Women's National Team Indoor Championships were announced on Wednesday, July 19 and both Carnegie Mellon University teams will be participating once again. This year marks the 10th straight year the women’s team will compete for the indoor title while the men will be making their sixth appearance since 2010.
