  • Four Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large Honors

    Four Carnegie Mellon University athletes were honored by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) as Google Cloud At-Large Academic All-District selections. Senior women’s golfer Carly Jordan (San Juan Capistrano, Calif./St. Margaret’s Episcopal School) and junior swimmer Emma Nicklas-Morris (Winston-Salem, N.C./RJ Reynolds) were selected to the women’s team while senior diver Gabe Bamforth (Cambridge, Mass./CRLS) and sophomore swimmer Justin Britton (Falls Church, Va./George Mason) were selected to the men’s team.
  • Tartans Place 16th at NCAA Championships

    With three more top 16 finishes by Carnegie Mellon University men's swimming and diving athletes, the Tartans close the 2019 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships with 50 points for a 16th-place finish, the best finish since 2010 for the men's team.

This year, four athletes are included on the list of 40 honorees – Gabe Bamforth (Cambridge, Mass. / CRLS) of men's swimming and diving, Seth Henry (Fulton, Md. / Reservoir) of men's basketball, Rory Hubbard (Rolling Hills Estates, Calif. / Palos Verdes Peninsula) of football and Lauren Mueller (Downingtown, Pa. / Downingtown STEM Academy) of volleyball.
